Lace Christening Gown
This christening gown is made from fabric and lace from a wedding gown. The bodice and puffed sleeves are made from fabric from the original gown bodice. The neckline, waistline and sleeve bands are embellished with beaded trim, and the entire gown has a beaded lace overlay. The baby's mother especially wanted to replicate the look of the lace train from the original gown.
There was just enough fabric left to make a matching satin cap, pictured below.
